It was my first time trying Halal food! Wow, was it delicious and unique. I ordered a platter. Chicken over rice. It's served with brown basmati rice and a salad. There's toppings you can add, I chose onions, peppers, and black beans. I added the white sauce! And added a side of pita bread. It's was perfect! The chicken is flavorful with a little kick. All the ingredients were fresh. The restaurant was very clean and the woman who helped me was very kind. This place is a must!
I enjoyed a delicious and generous dinner from Shah's Halal in Stamford. Very clean restaurant with pleasant and efficient service at the counter. Nice choice of fairly priced food with very fresh ingredients. Also love their Baklava. Easy parking for pickup. And don't miss their green sauce, with the right amount of flavor and "cick." Found this place a little while ago it wasn’t sure what it was so I came in and they explained what the halal food was. Wow what great food they have and so reasonable priced. It is now on my weekly schedule for dinner. Everyone there is very friendly and helpful. My favorites are Soffia and Tarif. They seem to be there most of the time and always welcome me with a great smile and hello ! They really make the place special. Thanks and see ya soon!!!
Shah’s Halal on Hope Street is a must-try! The chicken over rice is packed with flavor, the white sauce is addictive, and the portions are generous. Fast service, great prices, and consistently delicious. Easily one of the best halal spots in Stamford! Shoutout to Farid for the amazing hospitality and service.
This is hands down the cleanest and freshest Shah's I've visited! The service is outstanding, and the portion sizes are much more generous compared to the other three locations I've tried. Every time I've been here, they've never served me anything less than fresh— if there’s ever been a wait, it’s been no more than five minutes to prepare a fresh batch, which has never been an issue. Highly recommend stopping by to experience it for yourself
These people take care of customers always. I’ve never had any bad experience. They often run promos and deals on their rice platter. Uber eats almost always has deals like “buy 1 get 1“. Dine in and outside seating is available.
